Tucked away in the charming town of Avola, Morfeo turned out to be a delightful retreat for culinary enthusiasts. I was welcomed like family by Franco and his delightful team, including the ever-energetic Ornella at the front desk-she made every query feel effortless! The breakfast spread was a true highlight, boasting various options from vibrant fresh fruits to fluffy pancakes, alongside scrambled eggs cooked to perfection. The croissants were a crunchy treat, and the great coffee was equal to some of the best cafes I've experienced in the Caribbean. I was fortunate enough to stay in an upgraded room, which featured a lovely jacuzzi tub-a perfect spot to relax after exploring nearby treasures like the renowned beaches of Calamosche and Marzamemi, just a short trip away. The laid-back atmosphere complemented the delicious meals, and after a satisfying breakfast, I found many great restaurants within walking distance, allowing for a culinary journey of Avola. It's easy to see why I would return; it's the perfect place for those who appreciate hearty meals in a warm and inviting setting.
